How To Steam Out Your CUBE 4' 

If you have to send your CUBE 4' because of a defect, you should definitely steam it out first! This ensures that there is no residual water in the system and nothing can leak during transport. This page explains exactly how to steam out. 

First you need to access the settings to personalise your CUBE 4' - simply press the on/off button three times and select the turquoise colour code.
When you press the on/off button again, your CUBE 4' will switch to the flashing menu.
Now press the + button to turn your status LED all the way to the right. 

Now you just have to empty the water tank and put it back in. 

Then insert the hot water funnel on the right side. (Included with the CUBE 4'). After that, push the lever down to bring the funnel and the CUBE 4' into brewing position. 

Place a container with a minimum capacity of 300 millilitres under the hot water funnel (it's better to have a little more than this).

Press the cup symbol to start the evaporation.  

Empty your water tank completely again. (If there is water in the tank, it came from the CUBE 4' system.) Replace the water tank.

Now open the brewing unit by pushing the lever back up.

Remove the hot water funnel.

Your CUBE 4' is now ready to be serviced when travelling.
