How To Adjust The Grinding Time Of CUBE 4'

Your CUBE 4' is a true technological marvel when it comes to coffee: with the factory settings, it selects the appropriate grinding time for your coffee recipes for the first 25 to 50 extractions.
With this setting, for each extraction (!), the CUBE 4' compares the amount of powder in the Click Cup with the amount you selected when grinding. If the quantities differ, the CUBE 4' will automatically adjust the next time you brew. If there is not enough coffee powder in the Click Cup, the grinding time will be extended. If there is too much coffee powder in the Click Cup, the brewing time is shortened.

When should you adjust the grinding time manually? It may be necessary in rare cases or with atypical grinders. (Or if the grinder is worn out from frequent use.) However, this manual adjustment should not be made until at least 100 grindings have been performed!

So how do you adjust the sharpening time if necessary? Access the maintenance settings by pressing the on/off button three times and select Violet using the +/- control buttons. This will take you to the Auto-Off Times menu.

Use the -/+ buttons to change the desired grinding time. However, we recommend that you leave the grinding time at the factory setting.

Each bar to the left shortens the grinding time further and grinds less coffee powder.

Each bar to the right increases the grinding time.

Pressing the on/off button saves the setting and exits the menu item. (The on/off button will light in purple.)

Press the on/off button three times to exit the menu. (Or wait for the automatic timeout).
